NVivo is now available to UMD faculty, staff, and graduate students. NVivo is software that supports qualitative and mixed methods research. It’s designed to help you organize, analyze, and find insights in unstructured or qualitative data like interviews, open-ended survey responses, articles, and social media and web content.

For more information and to download, visit terpware.umd.edu. You will find NVivo in the Analysis and Modeling category.

This new three-year agreement is in place thanks to the collaborative efforts and contributions of the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, the College of Information Studies, the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the School of Public Health, the Division of Student Affairs, and the Division of Information Technology.

If you have any questions or encounter any issues downloading NVivo, please contact the Service Desk at 301.405.1500 or itsc@umd.edu.
