The quiz/survey/questionnaire development tool is designed to be available
to
faculty and staff of the University of Maryland. Access is through the use of
the University ID number and PIN.
A survey may be constructed by using the
survey administrator, a web based
package which provides the ability to create a survey. All access is via
a web browser.
Each person using the tool must select an ID.
The URL required to access a survey includes this ID
as well as the name of the individual survey. A single user may create multiple
surveys.
As individuals complete a given survey, the results are captured by the survey
tool. The results may be saved to a file or emailed to a given email address.
If the results are saved to a file, a summary of the results may be obtained.
Features that are planned, but not yet available:
- assigning point values to responses and grading the results.
- displaying questions in a random order
- sending individual score results to the person completing the survey
