OIT Web Services Staff Guide
Done with a webpage/site?
Please do the following before you e-mail webservices@umail.umd.edu:
- Proof your work.
Open each page and LOOK at it.
- Check your page/site
on the MAC, PC, using NN and IE.
- If you coded the
page with layers, take them out.
- If you used CSS
above 1, take it out.
- Check all links
and the page spelling using Dreamweaver or NetMechanic.
- Make sure each image has an approprite "alt" tag.
