From an Off-Campus Phone or for a Conference with More than Six People

For conference calls with seven or more people, or calls that cannot be initiated from an on-campus telephone, online options from external vendors are available. One such vendor is Infinite Conferencing. Infinite Conferencing offers a simple to use 24 x 7 x 365 conferencing service. This option gives University of Maryland customers the option to set up an on-demand audio conferencing account online. Once an Infinite Conferencing account is set up and a call-in number and pass code assigned, this service can be used at any time. Infinite Conferencing can host up to 100 people on a conference call with the option to expand if desired. There are no requirements for set-up fees, monthly minimums, or contracts. This service can be used from campus or anywhere in the United States. The service provides individual invoices and reports of usage from the vendor. Your usage can be billed directly to your department (via invoice or purchasing card). The current rate for this vendor is 3.5 cents per minute per connection.
