In order to access the University of Maryland Data Warehouse, several elements are necessary: desktop computer, query tool to perform analysis, communication to the data warehouse, authorization for access to the data warehouse, training on the query tool, training on the data subset(s), and user support. Procedures for each of these items are listed below. To ensure proper set up of the query tool and communication software, it is strongly suggested that data warehouse users work with their Academic Technology Coordinator or technical support staff.
