About The Speaker Series

The Center for Teaching Excellence and the Academic Support unit of the Office of Information Technology present the Innovations in Teaching and Learning Speaker Series (formerly known as the Speaker Series: Teaching, Learning, Technology?). The purpose of the series is to provide discussion at the University of Maryland on how newly emerging themes, theories and technologies are impacting the teaching and learning process. The speakers for the 2006-2007 series have been selected for their contributions to and assessments of pedagogical, transformational, and technology-enhanced innovations in higher education.
