Provide users with a single digital doorway, ( a portal), to the University of Maryland, College Park. Promote tools and services that encourage daily use by all end-user groups. Work with students, faculty, and staff to identify gaps and shortcomings in current service offerings. Coordinate at the University level to prioritize identified needs and implement them in a timely and efficient manner. Stay current with emerging technologies with an eye towards mining the gems. Identify trends and stay abreast of what users want and use on a daily basis. Accomodate and incorporate tools that users use in an effort to maintain the user base. Design and develop custom web applications for clients with unique needs unmet by existing products.
