Commercial Applications

Uses of Standard Windows Applications
Many very useful capabilities are provided through standard Windows applications
placed in several different Windows. The main window is read-only by everyone;
the class-specific window is read-only by everyone; the instructor's window
is writable by the instructor but read-only by the students; and each student's
personal window is writable. Some examples are:
- The instructor can drag notepad into the instructor's window
and have it point to the class syllabus, homework assignments, supplemental
reading lists, example questions, or other useful information.
- Paintbrush can be similarly to point to images.
