Regular Server License v.s. Per Processor License (if applicable):
You may have the option of purchasing either the regular server license or the per processor license. You may choose whichever model is more cost-effective.
- If you choose to buy a regular server license, it is NOT dependant on the number of processors you have. You will purchase one server license for each server that is running this software. However, you MUST purchase the appropriate number of CALs for however many users will be accessing your data from this software.
- If you choose to buy a per processor license, you MUST purchase one for each processor on your hardware (if you have two processors, you must purchase two per-processor licenses). These INCLUDE unlimited CALs, so you do not need to purchase additional CALs for your users.
