*Important Notes*
- Your computer MUST have had an earlier version of a Windows operating system. You may erase the machine prior to doing a full installation. You cannot install Windows 7 on a machine that was never licensed for Windows. THIS INCLUDES MACINTOSH COMPUTERS!
- Windows 7 Enterprise Edition is available to volume licensing customers, such as the University of Maryland, College Park, and is the same as Windows 7 Ultimate in the retail world.
- Windows 7 is licensed like Windows Vista - through a KMS (Key Management Service) with the option of using a MAK (Multiple Activation Key) code for locations that cannot connect to the on-campus server. Customers will receive instructions on these methods upon purchase.
