Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard

**INFORMATION UPDATED 10/29/09**

The OIT Software Licensing office has been reviewing the new Apple Educational Licensing Program (AELP) that was announced in September. The key points of this new agreement are an annual purchase of a software bundle which includes the latest Mac OS, iLife, and iWork and includes one year coverage including new releases of software. Also, 100% coverage of our institutionally-owned Mac computers of our installed base.

Our initial review has revealed some deficiencies with the program which prevent us moving forward at this time. We will continue to work with Apple on finding a solution for our institutional Mac base.
