Do you want to put thousands of songs in your pocket? Thanks to the generosity
of Apple, you might be able to do just that! The Office of Information Technology
is proud to present the opportunity to win an iPod to one lucky
UM student. These digital music players are lighter than two CDs and
hold 10 gigabytes of songs.

So what’s the catch?
It’s simple. All you have to be is a current University of Maryland,
College Park student. Complete
the survey about TechKnow at the link below. TechKnow is a newsletter by the
Office of Information Technology that delivers the latest information technology
news
for undergraduate students. It also provides technology tips, from designing
effective Web sites to protecting computers from viruses.
On-campus students receive TechKnow in the mail. Other students can pick it
up at computer labs, or they can read it online. We would like your feedback
about our newsletter. If you have not seen it, you can read it at www.oit.umd.edu/techknow.
Only one entry per contest per person please. All entries
must be received by December 16, 2004 and OIT employees are not eligible.
Winners will be announced on this Web page on January 4, 2005 and contacted
by e-mail and phone. Questions? You can contact us at oit-pr@umd.edu.
Complete the Survey!
Congratulations to Amy Sawyer whose name was
drawn from the completed surveys and is the winner of the iPod!
