Requesting Multiple Oracle Calendar Accounts

This form is for requesting Oracle Calendar access for your unit or department. This account is free and can be accessed using the Oracle Calendar Web Client with your local web browser. Should you wish to run the Oracle Calendar client application (not web-based), there is a fee to purchase the software which can be obtained through Software Licensing.

  • Oracle Calendar access is not available to students except as related to their employment with the University.
  • Requests from units will be processed in advance of requests from individuals.
  • We will process your request as soon as reasonably possible, however, not all requests can be processed simultaneously. As such, we will work with unit contacts to coordinate the most effective rollout in your unit.

Things you, the unit contact, can do to prepare for activation of Oracle Calendar in your unit.

  • Determine the list of people in your unit that need access to the Oracle Calendar system. We will require names and Directory IDs.
  • Determine the set of resources you will require. Resources are things like conference rooms, computers, A/V equipment, etc. The following information is needed to establish resources:
    • For rooms: Building Name, Room Number, Type of Room (conference room, computer lab), and the department that is responsible for it. If possible, use the three or four character abbreviation used in the schedule of classes.
    • For other resources: The department responsible for the equipment, the name of the resource (leave calendar, computer), the type of resource (general calendar, computer, audiovisual, etc.).
  • Determine the people who should have responsibility for managing the resources.
  • Review the help pages for Oracle Calendar.
