Implementation--3 Steps
Effectively implementing the Junk Mail Analyzer to identify and filter unwanted e-mail consists of three activities:
Activity One: Elect to Have Your Mail Scored--log in and click on "SCORE MY MAIL." Your mail will begin to be analyzed using the default settings.
Use your Directory ID and password to access your Junk Mail Analyzer settings and turn the service either on or off.
Activity Two: Server-side Analysis-personalize your settings with the "ADVANCED SETTINGS" button.
Learn how to use the advanced settings to further define which e-mail messages should be considered to be junk and which messages should never be considered to be junk.
Activity Three: Client-side Filtering-manage the junk mail you receive within your local e-mail client.
Learn how to set up your e-mail client to perform an action on those e-mail messages the Junk Mail Analyzer has tagged as being junk mail (such as moving the junk messages to a certain folder).
