ARS Training and Software

Download the software needed for ARS
Install the Hummingbird tn3270 telnet client to access ARS on your desktop. You will also need to download VPN software and run this in the background before you access ARS on your desktop. Information on VPN software can be found at http://helpdesk.umd.edu/vpn.
Training
ARS training is offered on a monthly basis to individuals with new or existing accounts. Training covers electronic form creation, routing and lookup. The sessions take place in the CSS Training Room, Rm 4404, in the Computer & Space Sciences Building.

Access to ARS
Authorized University of Maryland, College Park, administrative assistants, business managers, administrators, service providers and institutional researchers can access the Academic Resource System. Authorization is granted through approval by the employee's unit head as well as the Academic Resource System staff via the University of Maryland MVS Account Request form. Access the form via the web, complete and print the form, acquire signatures and mail your form to OIT Helpdesk, 1400 Computer Space and Science or call 405-1500 to request the form.
