Sloan-C September Online Workshops Open for Registration
The Sloan Consortium is an institutional and professional leadership organization dedicated to integrating online education into the mainstream of higher education, helping institutions and individual educators improve the quality, scale, and breadth of online education.
OIT sponsors this institution's membership in the Sloan Consortium which provides faculty, staff, and graduate students access to the online workshops provided throughout the year. The September workshops are now open for registration and are listed below.

- Copyright Compliance for Online Educators
- Getting Started: The First Step Toward Online Teaching

The OIT Learning Technologies group has redesigned the website at http://otal.umd.edu
(Your Campus Resource for Online Teaching and Learning).
Our new site provides information that supports all of our services, including:

In addition, the new site will provide a calendar of events, a variety of how-to materials, community forums, and contact information.
