Answers to Your Questions

Question ...
I heard that Direct
Connect was spyware free. Can I safely
swap music files with it?
Answer ...
Direct Connect does appear to be spyware free. As
advertised on www.neo-modus.com, the home site of Direct Connect,
it does not employ any of the popular spyware vendors within
its software. Be aware that although direct connect’s software
is spyware free, you will still have to deal with advertisements
when using it. What better medium to sell hair growth formulas
and impotence medication than when you’re downloading music
and movies illegally?
Question ...
Ever since I switched to an @umd.edu account, some
e-mails have not reached my inbox. What’s the deal?
Answer ...
Your e-mail is configured to sort out junk mail and
put it into a Junk Mail folder. Your account may have thought
that legitimate mail was spam.
Click on Folders, then select Junk Mail. If you find legitimate
e-mails, open them and look at the sender area at the top of
the e-mail. Click on “This is Not Spam,” and your
e-mail account will stop blocking mail from that address.
