- The CD-ROM media for the volume license version of Virtual PC does NOT contain an operating system. For University owned or leased machines, you may use any OS eligible for departmental purchase.
- Virtual PC 7 for Mac is not compatible with Intel-based Macs. For more

System Requirements
- 700 MHz native PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
- Mac OS X version 10.2.8 or later (G5's must have 10.3), 512 MB of RAM, 70 MB of available hard disk space
