On May 13, 2009, Amy Ginther, OIT’s Coordinator of Project NEThics, was
honored with an Outstanding Service Award for her work with the university’s
Peer Consulting NETwork (PCN). The PCN is a volunteer unit of the Center for
Leadership and Organizational Change (CLOC). PCN members partner with full-time
CLOC consultants to work with units across the university on various organizational
development initiatives.
The PCN awards emphasize the whole of a person’s contribution to CLOC
and the PCN, their totality of service, and their consistency and commitment
to serving CLOC, the PCN, and the forward movement of the campus community.
Amy has been a member of the PCN since 2007. During that time, she has contributed
to CLOC in numerous ways, including participating in several consultation projects
with different university departments, with an external client through university
ties to the National Academies of Science, and by facilitating a PCN training
session.
In accepting the award, Amy said, “I feel so privileged to be a part
of this team where we all thrive in an atmosphere of excellence — in the
training provided to us, and in the service we deliver to client systems.”
