During the winter session, some OIT units will operate with modified service
hours, which are described below.
OIT offices--including the Digital Imaging Group, Software Licensing Office,
Web Services, Terrapin Technology Store, and all other OIT offices--will be
closed on Monday, January 15 for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. We
will reopen according to winter break hours of operation on Tuesday, January
16, 2007.
OIT Help Desks (301.405.1400 for students, 301.405.1500 for
faculty/staff)
The Help Desks (including the ACT Program Repair Center) will be open weekdays
from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They will be closed on Monday, January 15 for Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday. Regular hours of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 6 p.m.
will resume on January 22, 2007.
NTS Customer Service Center (301.405.4400)
The Networking and Telecommunications Customer Service Center (x54400 on campus;
nts-service-desk@umd.edu) will
be open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They will be closed on Monday, January
15, for MLK Day. In the case of a voice or network emergency, please leave a
message describing the problem. An NTS staff member will be notified of the
problem.
Campus Information Services Office (301.405.1000)
From January 2 through January 20, Campus Information Services (CIS) will
be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). CIS will be closed on Monday, January
15 for the MLK holiday. On Sunday, January 21, the CIS unit will resume normal
working hours for the spring of 2007.
Terrapin Technology Store (301.314.7000)
The Terrapin Technology Store will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on
January 2 through 11. Beginning January 12, it will resume the regular hours
of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday - Friday. The store will be closed on January 15
in observance of the MLK holiday.
WAM Labs
WAM labs will have modified hours as listed below. For regular WAM lab hours,
