Spring Break 2007 Service Hours

OIT offices—including the Faculty/Staff and Student Help Desks, Software Licensing Office, the Digital Imaging Group, and Web Services—will be closed Monday, March 19 through Wednesday, March 21. Offices will reopen according to regular hours of operation on Thursday, March 22, 2007.

At 6 a.m. on Monday, March 19, there will be an outage of the university telephone system lasting between two and five minutes. During this time, no incoming or outgoing calls will be possible. This outage will facilitate an upgrade to the university phone system. Please contact the OIT Help Desk at 301.405.1500 with questions or concerns.


Campus Information Services Office (301.405.1000)

The Information Services Office will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 16 and reopen for regular hours on Thursday, March 22, 2007.


NTS Customer Service Center (301.405.4400)

The Networking and Telecommunications Customer Service Center (x54400 on campus; nts-service-desk@umd.edu) voice messaging system will notify an NTS staff member of reported voice or network problems.


Terrapin Technology Store (301.314.7000)

The Terrapin Technology Store will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 16 and reopen for regular hours on Monday, March 26, 2007.


WAM Labs

WAM labs will have modified hours listed below. For regular WAM lab hours, please visit www.oit.umd.edu/wheretogo.

CSS Closed 4 p.m. March 16 - Opens 8 a.m. March 22
PG2 Closed 4 p.m. March 16 - Opens 8 a.m. March 22
24 hrs. access with a valid University ID between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. beginning March 22.
WOR Closed 3 p.m. March 16 - Opens 8 a.m. March 22
24 hrs. access with a valid University ID between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. beginning March 22.
AVW Open 24 hours with valid University ID between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
