Labor Day 2005 Holiday Service Hours

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will be closed on Labor Day, September 5, 2005. The Help Desk will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 2 and reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 6.

The Networking and Telecommunications Customer Service Center, Network Operations Center, Software Licensing Office, Web Services, Digital Imaging Group, and all other OIT offices will reopen according to their regular hours of operation.


Campus Information Services Office (301.405.1000)

The Information Services Office at 301.405.1000 will be open 9 a.m-4 p.m. Saturday, September 3. It will be closed Sunday and Monday, September 4 and 5 and reopen with regular fall hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.) on Tuesday, September 6.


Computer Operations Production Services

CICS - service for MVS users:

  • Saturday -- normal Saturday service
  • Sunday -- normal Sunday service
  • Monday -- normal holiday service

UMCP1- service for HP users:

  • Extended service is available upon request

ARES - service for WEB Administrative Applications:

  • Saturday -- normal Saturday service
  • Sunday -- normal Sunday service
  • Monday -- normal Monday service

TESTUDO - service for WEB Student Applications:

  • Saturday -- normal Saturday service
  • Sunday --normal Sunday service
  • Monday -- normal Monday service
