The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2005.

The following services will remain available:

• The PG2 and A.V. Williams WAM labs will remain open with a valid University ID.
• The Networking and Telecommunications Customer Service Center (301.405.4400; nts-service-desk@umd.edu) will respond to reports of voice communication emergencies.
• The Network Operations Center (301.405.3003) will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 17 to handle network problems.
• Dispatching and tape processing will be available Monday. MVS CICS will run under a normal holiday schedule. UMCP1 services will be available only with prior approval.

Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, January 18.

CICS - service for MVS users:

• Saturday -- normal Saturday service
• Sunday -- normal Sunday service
• Monday -- normal holiday service

UMCP1- service for HP users:

• Extended service not available unless with prior approval

ARES - service for WEB Administrative Applications:

• Saturday -- normal Saturday service
• Sunday -- normal Sunday service
• Monday -- normal Monday service

TESTUDO - service for WEB Student Applications:

• Saturday -- normal Saturday service
• Sunday -- normal Sunday service
