ACCMAIL accounts will be migrated to the Mail@umd e-mail system on Sunday, May 22 between noon and 5 p.m. If you have an ACCMAIL account, please do not access it during this time. Generic accounts will not be affected by this change.

During the migration, all mail in the ACCMAIL accounts will be copied onto the Mail@umd system and new mail will be forwarded. No mail will be lost during the transition.

Some changes to e-mail clients (Netscape, Outlook, etc.) are needed to access mail on the new system. If you have trouble accessing your mail using your e-mail client after the migration, you can access it through Webmail at www.mail.umd.edu. Local tech support and the OIT Help Desk will be able to help you access your mail on Monday.
