Move Your WAM, Glue, and DEANS E-mail to Mail@umd and Get Account Access on the Web

If you use WAM, Glue, or DEANS for e-mail, you can now migrate your e-mail into a new or existing Mail@umd e-mail account. Doing this will benefit you in several ways:

  • You could free up space in your WAM or Glue account to use for other things, like saving files, hosting Web site files, etc.
  • You would gain more full-featured Webmail access to your e-mail, including the ability to set up automatic forwarding, vacation messages, and more.
  • You would have better spam management tools, including the Mail@umd system’s automatic filtering, as well as easier-to-create server side rules for inbound message management.

To migrate WAM, Glue, or DEANS e-mail, there are a few steps to complete. More information on the process is available at www.oit.umd.edu/email/wam-glue.html.
