Teaching With Technology Conference

Call for Proposals
  • Has your teaching been changed by technology?

  • Are your students’ learning experiences being fostered by technology in interesting or novel ways?

  • Have you found ways to assess outcomes of technology-enhanced pedagogical experiences?

The Teaching With Technology Conference offers opportunities for University of Maryland faculty, instructors, teaching assistants, and instructional technology support staff to discuss, demonstrate, or explore topics involving the impact technology has on teaching activities and learning outcomes. Celebrating its 13th anniversary in 2006, this year’s conference is sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Office of Information Technology. It will be held at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union.

The Call for Proposals for the March 31st conference is underway between December 1, 2005 and February 3, 2006. Visit the conference Web site for proposal details and submittal form.

If you’re not ready to present at the conference, we encourage you to attend! Registration will open on February 24, 2006. If you’d like to learn more about how technology can be integrated into your teaching and learning
objectives with some of the technologies that will be featured in the conference, consider participating in an Institute for Instructional Technology training module this January. (See schedule of courses.)
