Institute for Instructional Technology The Institute for Instructional Technology (IIT) is a faculty-centered program supported by the Office of Information Technology that provides skills training and peer mentoring to faculty who wish to explore the ways in which technology can be integrated into their course curricula. Training modules focus on a variety of technological applications through the presentation of hands-on learning modules. These modules are taught by OIT instructional designers, trainers, and pedagogical tools experts. Registration opens to University of Maryland faculty instructors and teaching assistants on December 1, 2005.Provide your University Directory ID and password to register and view module descriptions in the Course Catalog at the Training@Maryland Web site (www.training.umd.edu). Click on the Course Catalog tab and choose the Institute for Instructional Technology training organization.
