Final Speaker Series Presentation to be Delivered at Teaching With Technology Conference
The “Teaching, Learning, Technology?” speaker series, co-sponsored by OIT and the University Libraries, will culminate on April 9, 2004 at the 11th Annual Teaching With Technology Conference. Dr. Vijay Kumar will deliver the keynote address “Opening up Educational Possibilities through Content, Pedagogy, and Technology” at 2:00 p.m. in McKeldin Library room 6137. Other events at the Teaching With Technology Conference will include
poster sessions as well as talks about topics such as “Bringing the Classroom
to Life: Using Technology to Transform the Classroom Experience,”
“Beyond Content: Creating Community with WebCT,” “Experiences
with Weblogs in Professional Writing,” and “Innovations and
Student Impressions of Distance Delivery of an Engineering Curriculum.” There
will also be a showcase of innovative technologies available to instructors.
The conference is free for University of Maryland faculty, instructors,
teaching assistants, and instructional support personnel. For more information
