OIT Help Desk Tips

• Did you know that you can look up faculty and staff phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and campus addresses online? You can at www.directory.umd.edu/search. Searches for student information require logging in with your Directory ID and Password.

• Did you know OIT offers great classes to bone up on computer skills? Look at www.oit.umd.edu/units/as/sc/schedule.html to learn Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, and more.

• Did you know OIT provides technological services specially tailored for persons with disabilities on campus? There is technical support for ADA access through the Help Desk (301.405.1500) and assistive technology available in many of the WAM labs. Visit www.oit.umd.edu/projects/adapt for more details!
