ELF Financial Forms Honored at 2002 Invention of the Year Awards
ELF Financial Forms, the brainchild of nine University of Maryland colleagues, was one of three finalists in the category of Information Science Invention of the Year at the university’s 2002 Invention of the Year awards. One of approximately 20 entries, ELF allows authorized users to easily access, complete, submit, and track financial forms via the Internet. Last year, it was copyrighted and sold to another university, resulting in income for the campus and royalties for the inventors. The collaborators were Steven Edwards, Julie Wright, Daniel Catalano, Christopher Mann, Richard Moyer, Stephen Morgan, Kyle Langford, Shaun Fleming, and William Wright.
