Ask IT

Dear AskIT:

I would like to use Word to do Hebrew word processing. I have a Windows 2000 Professional operating system. How can I do that?

Ms. Multilingual

Dear Ms. Multilingual:

MSWord editions in other languages are available from the Software Licensing Office for the cost of the license and (if needed) the CD.

AskIT

Dear AskIT:

I’d like to know how many people are visiting my web page on WAM. Is there any way I can do this?

HotSite

Dear HotSite:

You can view the server logs for both WAM and Glue account web pages. They list directories with at least 0.01% of the traffic, sorted by the amount of traffic. Look for the Directory Report at http://www.wam.umd.edu/wwwstats/general.html and http://www.glue.umd.edu/wwwstats/general.html. If your web page is not listed there, or if you have a more complex query, you may send a request to request@glue.umd.edu.
