Backup Survey Results

In our last edition we asked you to respond to a quick survey on disaster recovery and file backup plans. We received fewer responses than we had anticipated, therefore our summary report is very general.

Slightly more than half of the respondents reported that their computer files are regularly backed up, while the rest admitted that their files are not backed up. The most popular method for backing up was to upload the files to a local server or to a WAM account.

Of those who had experienced an accidental loss of data at some time in the past, 2 out of 3 told us their data was not recoverable. Don't let this happen to you — backup often!
