9:30-10:30am Explore the Dreamweaver Environment
Learn to identify the tool palettes and panels inherent in the Dreamweaver MX environment. Edit and format content using tools from the Property Inspector.
10:30am-12:00pm Using Dreamweaver MX to Convert and Modify Existing Content
Learn how to open files saved in MS Word's HTML format and convert them to standard HTML format. Create a color scheme and page layout using tables.

1:00-3:00pm Integrate Flash Buttons for Web Page Navigation and Templating
Learn how to use Dreamweaver's Flash "applet" to create hyperlink "buttons". Explore other tools useful for adding visual interest to the web page. Learn to create a web page template to ensure consistency of web page elements throughout a course website. And, explore Dreamweaver's Local Site management tool.
3:00-3:30pm Infrastructure and Transferring Your Files
Learn tips and tricks for HTML and graphic files. Understanding the basic structure that supports a website. Learn to transfer files from your desktop to the web server that will host your website.
