OIT supports persons with disabilities by providing adaptive
technology resources.
Calendaring Software
How
do I get an Oracle Calendar (CorporateTime) account?
OIT works with departments and other units to activate Oracle Calendar
(formerly CorporateTime) accounts. In order for your unit to be activated
in Oracle Calendar, ask your unit representative to review the information
and complete the form at the following URL: www.oit.umd.edu/projects/calendar/request.html.
Computer Accounts
How
do I get a computer account?
E-mail, computer lab, and UNIX accounts are available from the Office of
Information Technology. You can use these accounts for e-mail,and accessing
public computer labs. To register, bring your University ID to the OIT
Help Desk, Computer and Space Sciences building Room 1400. For more information

How
do I get a print account for the computer labs?
You must have a Terrapin Express account to get a print
account. If you already have a Terrapin Express account
from Dining Services, go to the OIT
Help Desk, Computer
and Space Sciences building Room 1400, to register for a
print account. If you do not have a Terrapin Express account,
you can open a Terrapin Express account and a print account
with a minimum deposit of $20 in room 1109 South Campus

I
just graduated, how long does my e-mail account account remain active? Can
I keep my account?

Forgotten Passwords
What
should I do if I forgot my password?
If you forget your Directory password and have answered the password security
questions, you can use your answers to gain access to change your password
at www.password.umd.edu. If you forget
your password and have not answered the password security questions, you should
contact the OIT
Help Desk at 301.405.1500 (faculty/staff) or 301.405.1400
(students).
How
can I change my password?
To change your Directory password, visit www.password.umd.edu.

or disconnected?
To get a new line installed or change an existing phone
line, visit http://nts-services.umd.edu/order-requests or
contact the OIT-NTS

Services Equipment Request form.

do I report problems with my telephone?
To report a problem with your telephone, call 301.405.4400
or submit a request for repair services to nts-service-desk@umd.edu.
