Teaching Learning Support Student Technicians

Looking for motivated students interested in technology.

Responsibilities: In this position students support the scheduled activities of the Teaching Theaters and the Technology Classrooms support centers around campus and work with the faculty and instructors who use them. They support the use of a variety technologies including A/V, Internet, and digital imaging. Student technicians also provide frontline technical troubleshooting support for faculty in these facilities. The student technicians also help maintain the facilities for the courses.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Students interested in this position must have a strong technology aptitude with knowledge of Windows OS, as well as, general audio/visual technology skills. Successful applicant will have a willingness to learn, and an amiable attitude to work with faculty. Student technicians MUST be dependable and punctual.

Hours: 5-20 hours/week

Location: Technology Classroom Support Centers: Computer Science Instructional Center (CSI), Health and Human Performance (HHP), Plant Sciences Building (PLS), Reckord Armory (ARM); Teaching Theaters: Plant Sciences (1129), CSS (1410) and Engineering (3140).
