Responsibilities: We provide support for all aspects of the
computing experience to the faculty, staff, and students of the Robert H.
Smith
School of Business. Support is provided both deskside and by phone.
Duties include software installation, troubleshooting, hardware
upgrades, network connectivity configuration and troubleshooting,
printer support, and assistance with general computer use questions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Applicants must have a
thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems; Windows XP and
Windows 98 knowledge is particularly useful. Experience with troubleshooting
and installing hardware components and various software applications is a must.
A+
certification beneficial but not required.
Hours: 15-30 per week, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday,
some weekend hours possible. Availability weekdays between 8 a.m. and noon
strongly
preferred.
